My Gramps
has been in the hospital for the past two weeks, so I have been thinking about
him lots lately so I thought I would just share a little bit my thoughts!
My Grandpa recently had to be admitted to the hospital and
the first thing he says to me is, I don’t think I will be able to make you that
chest for a while now….. I didn’t even ask him for one I just mentioned that I need
a tickle trunk for all my costumes. Even though he was in pain all he could think
of was making a chest for me and making sure everyone else was comfortable!

We went to visit him in the hospital last Saturday and he
still had his sick old sense of humor making all of us laugh like usual even
though by the end he could barely keep his eyes open he was sure cracking jokes
left and right!! Gramps you are the most stubborn man I have ever met, you must
have 8 lives because you have survived things that no one else could of! When
you got in the plan crash you were never suppose to live, and then when you
pulled through they said you would never walk again and have you ever proved
them wrong!! Time and time again you amaze me, coming up with new ideas to
build, winning at almost every game of cards, pulling through for everyone of
your family members no matter what and building anything we come up with and
most of all making us all laugh!! When I grow up I hope I can be at least half
the person you are, you and Grams are the two most amazing people I know!! I
can’t wait until you are guys are back at home so I can beat you in cards!!
