NEW BEGINNINGS!

I recently decided to apply for the Dental Assisting Program at SAIT, I got accepted on conditional terms; I had to take Chemistry 30 (since I decided not to take it in high school) and pass with at least a 60%.  I decided to take the online course and after being out of school for 5 ½ years it was quite a challenge having to teach myself Chem. 30!! However after 5 months of hard work and over 100 hours of studying I pulled through and received a 75% on my diploma and finished with a final mark of 77%! On my acceptance sheet I had to write down what I thought my final mark was going to be in the course, I wrote down 75% and I went above and beyond and received a 77%!! Just proves you can accomplish anything you set out to do if you work hard at it!! I am very excited to start school in September one step closer to having an actual career!!!

Wedding Plans!!

Just thought I would give everyone a little update on our wedding plans!!

                                                      

We will be getting married at Lacombe Memorial Center on August 9, 2014! I am a very prepared bride, I already have our DJ(Captive Audio), J.P.(Barb Fenske), Photographer(Kingdom Come Photography), Caterer(Bob Ronie), Florist(Catylx), Hair appointments(Katz Meow), Chair Sashes, and vases for our center pieces booked. We also have a sample invitation made up, our favors picked out and our song request list is ready for the DJ!! We will be meeting with our baker on March 11, to have a cake tasting; we are both looking forward to this one!! I have booked appointments to try on wedding dresses in May! I can’t wait to find that perfect dress!!  I will have almost everything done by the end of the year and then the last 8 months I can sit back and hopefully relax (yaa right!!)! If it were up to me I would already have the invitations & favors made, but Andrew told me to wait sooo I guess I will hold off for a couple months!! Everything is really coming together  pretty smoothly so far, however I am sure things will change come the New Year with all those last minute details!
