Get that girl prego!!

I went into Andrew's work the other day with him to pick up some parcels. (Kal Tire hires people from poverty stricken countries to help out with winter rush.) While we were there the gentleman they hired for winter rush, Armen seen me standing in the reception area waiting for Andrew to find the boxes we needed. The next day he asked Andrew if that was his wife with him yesterday, Andrew replied yes. Then Armen said to Andrew that his wife is very beautiful and he should get me pregnant, or else I may leave him for someone who will hahaha!!!

DIY Rustic Wedding Invitations

I decided to make my own invitations for our wedding, to save a little bit of money. It cost around $200.00 for all the supplies I needed to make our invitations, if we would of got someone else to make them it would of cost $300.00 and up. I know we only saved around $100, but I love how they turned out and plus i get the satisfaction to know I created these beautiful pieces of art!!!

I found this awesome website that has free printable wedding invitation templates, there is a couple different templates to choose from and a large variety of colors to choose from!! I didn't really like the RSVP card's that came with this template, so I just made my own RSVP cards which was really easy!

Here are my invitations below:
I covered our personal information, but you can still get the idea of the invitations.

For my envelopes, there is a template for A7 envelopes on Microsoft word. I just copy pasted the heart and stars from the invitation, on some of the envelopes I do have guest's full address. It was a little tricky to get them to print right at first, just play around with the layout until it prints correctly!!

I bought a couple tools to help making these invitations a little easier! I bought a heart punch at Micheals  I think it coast around $20.00, and i bought a 1/8 hole punch for $7.00 off Amazon.com.

Below are the links and prices from where I bought my paper & envelopes:

Envelopes - 150 x A7 Brown Paperbag  Envelops - $32.85 + shipping & handling

CardStock - Vanilla Cream Cardstock - Textured - 240 papers - $29.94 + shipping & handling

CardStock - Kraft Cardstock - 250 papers -$25.47 + shipping & handling

Heaven's gained another angel....WWBD.....What would Brendy do...

I found out yesterday a dear friend of our family’s passed away; she was a one of a kind women! She was my play school teacher, which is where she and mom met. They were inseparable, she was pretty much there from day one she watched my sister’s and I grow up. She was always there for us no matter what; if we needed advice, or someone to talk to, we knew we could count on ol’ Brendy. A couple years ago we had some pretty tough times and Brenda was right there whenever we needed her she was only a phone call or text away; we even made up WWBD what would Brenda do! She was a wonderful woman to be around; if she was there we knew we would be laughing our heads off!!

She would always be over for a game of canasta, and when she got too hot she would get up and put her head in the freezer to cool down!! She would get soo excited she would talk in this high pitch fast voice it was pretty hilarious! One time we were fueling up with gas and My sister’s and I were waiting in the car with Brenda when a bee flew in and she had one of those paper yoyo things and she just went crazy whipping that thing around trying to kill this bee! I will always remember the time we were driving around with her in her tracker and she turned a corner a little too sharp and away we went up on two wheels around the corner haha, her reaction was priceless!!

She was on the invite list for mine and Andrew’s wedding, even though she won’t be there in person I am sure she will be there in spirit.I am so glad we got the chance to have you in our lives, and I am thankful we had the chance to experience so many awesome memories with you, you really lightened our lives  We will definitely miss her crazy loving spirit and we will always be thinking WWBD.

Our hearts go out to her husband, family and friends… you will be missed.
