DIY TUTU

This TuTu was very simple to make and it turned out beautifully!
What you need:
- two 20ft rolls of each color of tulle - $4.99ea
- some elastic or a piece of ribbon
- scissors
- needle and a thread

Step 1:
Measure you little one's waist then cut the appropriate length from the ribbon or elastic (if you are using elastic it will likely stretch as you tie the tulle around it)

Step 2:
Measure the desired length that you would like the tutu, then double that length. I pre cut all my tulle.

Step 3: Tie Tulle around the ribbon or elastic. (Make a loop and pull the ends through the hole) For this tutu I put 4 pieces of purple alternating between the light and dark purple, then I would put a piece of gold tulle!

Step 4: Once you have tied all the tulle around the ribbon or elastic, sew the ends together to make a waist band!

Step 5: you can trim the tulle to make sure it is all the same length!
